Do you have custom objects (or maybe even Maxis objects) that are not able to be quarter-tile placed, but don’t have the time to painstakingly go through every file to change the values? 

Do you have a handful of objects that you need to put down constantly, but it wasn’t enabled in the catalog to do so? 

Does that small custom plant sit fine on the table, but wish for your Sims to actually eat at the table (not with food in hand) while the plant sits upon it? 

Tired of cars crashing into each other, puddles stacking, etc. and you didn’t grab the hotfix yet?

3t2 classic frame: do u ever look at a room and think ‘u know what this is missing, some disturbing art’. well never again. 14 paintings on the horizontal frame + 11 on the vertical and of those only 5 don’t contain someone dead/dying/being murdered. Judith beheading Holofernes is obv included solely to be hanged in Olive’s dinning room, i did the disputed version instead of the og one bc it’s way creepier and thus better

Permanent Quarter-Tile Placement On!

Just wanted to share a tip I know about how to make the Quarter Tile Placement Cheat on all the time so you just have to press Ctrl + F when you want to use it without having to type in a cheat each time.

Many of you may know that adding “setquartertileplacement on” to your userStartup.cheat doesn’t work, so I’m going to tell you where you can put it that does work, in case you didn’t already know!

So, head to Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\Config and open up the file called “globalProps.xml” with a text editor, I recommend Notepad++. You should probably make a backup of this file first before making any changes, just in case.

In this file, scroll to the bottom and you should see a line that says:

<AnyBoolean key=“quarterTilePlacementEnabled” type=“0xcba908e1”>false</AnyBoolean>

Simply change the false to true and save the file and that’s it! The Quarter Tile Placement cheat will always be on without you having to type it in ever again! Simply toggle it on and off with Ctrl + F!

Hope that helps at least someone! I was telling my friend @morepopcorn​ about this trick and I couldn’t find the website where I initially read about how to do this anymore so she suggested I should make this post as it might not be common knowledge.

Does this work on the rugs? I’ve only been able to make rugs respond to quartertileplacement when they’re cc, which isn’t ideal. Does anyone know?

As a Facebook runaway, I just wanna say that it's very cool that Tumblr will let me say mean things about billionaires.

Like, the fact that oligarchs are filthy parasites that should be executed for their egregious crimes against humanity.

And also that they're pathetic shit stains guilty of more horrors than any of us can imagine.

And that the kindest solution is to grind them into compost and use their remains to nourish our gardens, so that when they bear fruit we can Eat the Rich once and for all.
